By pushy.....what does that mean? You mean not pushing him to feel something he's not ready to feel?

Dear proverbsrc,
I've read your previous post and the answers. If your boyfriend is not in counselling he may never be ready. This problem is solely his and although you can be a loving, supportive person in his life until he comes to terms and gets over his issues you may never be more than that in his life. Throughout our lives we have trials and tribulations to overcome but when we can't get past them they sort of grow and effect every part of our lives. It is obvious that he has to and is telling you that he needs to get over this before he can fully commit. The question becomes when or will he ever get past this? Now the hard part comes when you have to decide how long you are willing to wait. This is the point where he must get help or you do give him ultimatum to get help or you will have to move on. You can't make this your problem...he owns it.
