Puppy keeps intching his ears like crazy

our poor little Puppy lhasa apso is going crazy with itchy ears..particularly in the morning,,,we dont get his head wet when we bath him...we just wipe his face...hes playing like a little terrorizing gremlin...so hes not ill but somthing is really...

irritating in his ears...any ideas guys what it could. be ...any advice would be gratefully received ,Thanks ...christina in the uk

next time you take him the vet just ask and he/she will tell u. probably just an ear infection. but take him soon so it doesnt get too bad! he/she will probably give medicine for the poor baby!

I have a pitbull and she does the same thing I have to clean her ears out they get like this black bild up but you have to be very careful when you clean there ears out cause you don't wanna go to far in there ear and you gotta make sure they don't move cause you could hurt them but my dog is really good and doesn't move when I clean her ears cause it makes her feel better when I'm done.. ps its wicked nasty lol I hate doin hope this helps

It could be ear mites or an infection. Please take your baby to the Vet asap. Untreated ear infections can lead to many problems and you sound like someone who wants to do what is best for your fur baby.

Take him to the Vet for a culture...it could be allergies...it could be a yeast infection...one way or the other, you don't want to end up with a deaf dog if you can help it.

It could be ear mites or a build up of wax. My one dog has that problem and he has me using animax ointment and wiping her ears out with white vinegar 2 times a week.
I would just say, get her into a vet A.S.A.P. and get it checked out.
