I agree with your mom. You already have at least one dog (the mother) and keeping pets are expensive and time consuming. To be a responsible pet owner, you should never have more animals than you can afford and have adequate time for. The average cost of owning just one dog over it's lifetime is between seven and twelve thousand dollars and the time spent walking, feeding and cleaning up after all the puppies would be exhausting, if even possible. Make sure your puppies go to good homes where each one will have the chance to be the center of love and affection to their families and get your dog spayed so this doesn't happen again. There are way too many homeless animals.
I think it's best you give them away. Although you may love them, they're going to be VERY expensive and a lot of hardwork.
It's not responsible nor practical to keep all the puppies, even though I know your intentions are good. It'll be sad having to give them away, but it's for the best, as there's no possible way unless you're VERY rich and live in an enormous house with people who'll be there 24/7 to give them all the time and attention they need.
It's going to be a lot of food, accessories, walks, vet bills, you'd have to get them all spayed and neutered otherwise they'll reproduce with each other, etc etc. It'll just be too stressful.
You might want to get the mother spayed though so this doesn't happen again - it's irresponsible for an owner to allowed their dog to have puppies when there are already so many homeless, unwanted dogs on the streets and in pounds in the world as it is. There are also many risks and dangers regarding a pregnant dog; I've known a lot of dogs who've had difficulties during pregnancies and died.
However, maybe you can convince her to let you keep one of the puppies.
I know how you feel, when my pug Dixie had her puppies, I got so attached and wanted to keep them all, of coarse thats very unrealistic...they need to go to homes where they can get one on one attantion and if your pups are male/female you will have to have them spayed/neautered so they dont keep having puppies and all the shots and vet exames for each puppy is expensive and that isnt just a one time thing, its a continual yearly job after all the pups initual shots are done(each pup needs a set of 3 shots) wormer ect...It cost a lot of money to keep pets healthy, I dont doubt your love for them, but its a lot more to it than that. I know its tough to part with them, but its what is best for the puppies. I'm sure you will find great homes for them and make some family very happy with the love of your puppy in their life.
its quite a handfull if you keep them all believe me, my dog had 8 puppies
3 labradors and 5 rotweilers,
now they are big dogs, we were going to keep two of them but ended up keeping 1 for about 2months longer than the others, they get big very fast and need a lot of attention
we had to get rid of all of them in the end because how much care and patience you need with them, trust me it may not be a good idea to keep all of them,
if its a small dog then maybe its ok to keep one or two, but only if you have a big house, big garden, lots of free time and lots of patience, then maybe you coul dkeep them all
other than that I dont think its wise lovey x xx x x x x xx
