Public school or private school?

I wanted to know whether you would let your kids go to private school or public school?

Mine are grown but if I had my choice - 1) home-school 2) private 3) public.

My parents sent me to a private high school after elementary school and it is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love it so much!! Besides all the new people I met, the teachers are SO much better and seem to care a lot more.

In my opinion, private school is better in elementary and middle school, but at 9th grade in public school, they can enter the Honors and other more advanced classes which are just as good as private school and public school has more resources and money and things like that.
But really, I think it just depends on the kid. My sister and I have both been in private school for our entire lives and while I think that's good for my sister, I would definetely be better of in public school.
About homeschooling, it can go horribly wrong.

Homeschooling can also go extremely right: values / morals / integrity, learned.
