Psycho ex's

OK so my brother just called me...he broke up with his girlfriend a couple days ago and since then she keeps calling him everywhere, his house his work his cell even his friends and myself! Then today she came over to his place and asked if they could...

talk he said fine and let her in..at which point she proceeded to lock her self in his room and wouldnt leave for four hours...my brother is too nice of a person to force her out but they were shouting and then he told her that if she didnt leave in ten minutes he was going to call the police...she didnt so he called and when they questioned her she said she was affraid to leave his room because she thought he was going to hit her and assult her she said she was scared for her life my brother explained the situation and was able to show the call logs and had to call everyone he knew as character witnesses and what not and he was finally let go but nothing happened to her!
so I was wondering

has anyone had anything like this happen?
and
what would you have done?

mind you this is a 24yr old guy and a 25yr old girl!

This story is really terrible. I guess your brother could get a restraint order against her if he feels the need. That way she would be officially and legally obliged to stay away from him no matter what. But going hough legal procedures might not be the most attractive decision especially since she seems to turn it against him as soon as she has the chance. The situation has probably calmed down by now but if it hasn't I advise some legal advice to fix the problem. Most of all, your brother should cut off all contact with her and so should you. No answering phone calls, and no talking, no nothing!
