Dear lookn4answers,
You need to see a doctor for sure...this is very uncomfortable for your daughter and you should do everything you can to help her. Stress can play a big part in this as well as diet. Do some eliminating with her diet and teach her how to handle stress with methods such as meditation and deep breathing. Even today this is a tough condition to control.
Sue...good luck
There can be substantial variation between individuals in the effectiveness of specific psoriasis treatments. The decision to employ a particular treatment is based on the type of psoriasis, its location, extent and severity. The patient’s age, gender, quality of life, comorbidities, and attitude toward risks associated with the treatment are also taken into consideration.
The known types of treatments are phototherapy, Photochemotherapy, Systemic treatment and topical treatments. For details, use this link. It really helps!

Hello, I'm a 14 year old girl, and I also have psoriasis. I know how difficult it is to have to live with it. I've had it ever since I was 5 years old, and I spent 6 weeks in a Childrens Hospital. There is something that I use called MG217, it's for psoriasis. It works really good for me, maybe you should try that. I hope this helps.
