Prozac...what was your experience like with this medication?

My Psychiatrist is suggesting that I go on prozac for my major depression/anxiety and borderline personality disorder...

Has anyone in here ever been on Prozac?if so what was your good and bad experiences with it??what were you on it for?

Prozac is a good idea especially if the physician prescribed it and I would also suggest that you go and see a psychologist. Never rely only on medication.

i am on it right now for depression, it will effect everyone differently...it all depends.. me it makes me feel better about everything and when i forget to take it , i know that i have forgotten cuz thats how big of a differece there is in not taking it and taking it. but it also made me gain 16 pounds..not good..but like i said it effects evreyone differently.

Its a really bad pill to take cause it makes me feel worse. A few days after I started taking it I tried to overdose on it and I started hearing things. I really would suggest trying something else.
