there are always side effects to anything... actually I think one of the side effects are depression worsening...

It didn't work for me... I slept about 2 hours a night, wouldn't eat, headaches, VERY moody for no reason, and extremely depressed... I would talk to a psychiatrist and have them evaluate you to decide what the best medicine would be. Doctors just prescribe any depression pill, psychiatrists will know what medicine would suit you better. =)

prozac isnt for first time trials, unless someone in your family did well on them...you need to try something lighter, such as Citalopram

the only reason I got put on prozac just so all of you know was because my mom and grandma took it
