I also live in Canada.
I am now 19 and when I turned 14 I was able to get a job. You need to get your social insurance number (SIN) .. everyone needs it in order to work legally. As for whether or not you'll get the job, it all varies. I've gotten a lot of jobs on the spot because they liked me but if you are going threw the recession, as we are here in Alberta, it may be a lot harder for you to find a job. I've been out of work for 8 months now cause there isn't any work available here. So.. if they are looking for someone and you feel that you can do the job then definitely apply!! There is no harm in trying. If they don't call you back don't take it to hard. It happens. Best of luck sweetheart.
Take care.

Well I'm 15 in 18 days right and I haven't worked anywhere because they don't accept young teenagers. I've worked on farms and factories with my dad since I was 11 though and made 800$ a week. I really want to work for protocol with my boyfriend who's...
turning 17 next month.
I was wondering if they are going to accept me?
I'm a straight a student and I'm very mature for my age.
I can type really fast, I can speak english very well, I'm a fast learner and I never give up. I'm not afraid to talk to people and stuff.
My other question is, what tasks will I be likely to do?
Thank you so much
