Are protein powders safe?

So I was wondering are they safe? They dont contain no steroids right? D: Since I want to start drinking some to build muscle with my work outs.

yea but you should use like Weigh or however you spell it because it works the best and quickest but yea it would be better if you jus went to walmart and looked for Creatine pills, those work the best and if your hurtin anywhere it heals your injuries a lot quicker

Nice, yeah I got a powder from wal-mart a few days ago but I was looking up information but its hard to find real people opinions. I asked my cousins but none of them have ever taken any. I was going to get a soy protein powder from GNC, but the one from wal-mart has abit more protein grams, and just 20 more calories than the GNC one. Im sure 20 calories more wont kill me. I was just worry in away that those dam powders could contain some steroids or something. I read all the labs like 4-5 times just to make sure. lol But they are so dam cunning they cam use a code word just to hide the true meaning of something.
