Protected sex

I think im ready 4 it im 16 and me and my boyfriend are decdin wether 2 have it, I was wondering if I used a condom would I get pregnant because my friends say I could?

It is possible. condoms can break. and birth control can fail

Condoms are 98% effective when used PROPERLY. The condom should not be outdated, and it needs to be put on right. If you do, you should have no problems.

Although, there is always a small chance. That is why you should always have a backup plan of birthconrol, the pill, spermicidal lube, etc.

Whenever you have sex, no matter what type of protection you are using there will always be a chance you can get pregnant. Just make sure you use the condom correctly, the instructions will be on the inside of the condom box...and lubrication might make the condom less dry
