Proper funadvice ettiqette

Hi all . I am so very new to the computer and today is my 2nd time on FunAdvice .
I really just want to know a few things if you can help me , please : )
1st , is it proper protical to rate each reply that I get ?
2nd. should I ask my friends to join in if I think they would enjoy this sit e?
3rd . should we thank each reply we get with a fun mail or ...?
4th, should I send a fun mail to people whom I may want to connect with as friends before signing them up as a friend ?
sorry for the spelling errors , I can't find spell check yet .

so many more little things but I have a lot of time to learn , lol.

2nd, yes, please invite your friends if you think they'd enjoy our site, and if there's something we need to improve before they'd enjoy the site, please let me know & we'll add it to our list of things to do

3rd, thank people via fun mail, sure, if you like...I don't though...and I don't think most people do, but if you want to meet people, etc, that's a good way to go.

4th, some people have their profile set to get an email (or fun mail) and manually approve friends, so, some people either drop profile comments OR might send fun mail first, no idea which though.

We don't have one, if you use firefox, it has a built in spell check that underlines terms in red that you can then right click to edit. It's also faster & slightly more secure than Internet Explorer.

1 - You don't have to rate each reply you get, but if you think a reply was substantially helpful or unhelpful, then feel free to rate. Rating improves the quality of answers on the site.
2 - Yes, definitely!
3 - Again, you don't have to, but if the answer really helped you and you really want to personally thank the person, you can comment or FunMail the person. Or you can just reply back with a 'thank you' answer.
4 - A lot of people here just add others without even saying hi to them first. It's usually alright, especially if you enjoy reading this person's answers etc. Some people have friend restrictions on to Accept/Reject whoever adds them, but most don't. It's really your choice.
