Promise ring

Okay my boyfrnd of 3 years and I am absolutley in love with him, but he gave me a promise ring, we are only freshmen does he want to have sex or something? Because im saving myself and he doesnt know I want to safe myself, should I tell him or keep it to myself until he wants to have sex?

 
A good relationship is all about Communication. You and he should talk with each other about your sexual feelings and goals so that you both end up working from the same game book.

I say you should just ask him if he wants to, don't jump to conclusions..I learned that the hard way >.>

awww... hehehe... my boyfriend just gave me a promise ring this pass christmas =) and honestly... it didn't mean 'anything' for him to get it for me, except that he loves me and to show that he's commited to me!! so if I were you, I wouldn't worry... but if it bugs you, I'd ask him or wait till the topic comes up!! because like ethmer has said, a good relationship means good communication!!

a promise ring does not mean he just wants to get physical! It means he cares a lot for you and wants to 'promise' you'll be together for a long time.

you guys have been together for three years and you havent told him that you are saving yourself? And no, I do not think he gave it to you to get in your pants. you guys have been together for a really long time and it just shows how much he cares about you!!
