Project 64 emulator and gameshark codes

how do you use gameshark codes on an emulator ? I've looked , but google didn't have the answer

I dont think gameshark codes work for emulators, I think they only work for the actual product.

They do work on emulators. There should be a drop-down menu labelled 'Cheat' where you type in the codes. You can do the codes yourself or look on google.
