I'm picky when it comes to girls

ok I'm really picky when it comes to girls, as in dating.
well I finally found this cool chick we hung out and evrything, talked on the phone, you know just guy and girl stuff. everything was going swell we were getting pretty close, until one day she...

stopped texting me as much, just acting like there nothing there. so I asked her what was going on and she claimed that I said something and she thought I was just playing her, but I dont recall that statement at all, and I wasn't playing her, I was actrually trying to get serious, she also said that she was starting to like me until the statement...
now I want to talk to her but it kinda feels like I'm annoying her and she denies it but I think she's just trying to be polite, it seems like she just wants to be friends now, and nothing more.
so what should I do to try winning her back,?
I've tried thinking of things but I dont want to be too pushy with it, and yes, I've attempted to talk to her but nothing's working...

Right now the worst thing you can do is keep bugging her, that would just annoyed her and push her away further. Face to face contact is working so try writing her a letter or email and explaining why you said what you said and saying sorry for that. The last thing a girl wants to hear, especially when they are dating a older guy is that the guy thinks she's too young. The girl probably already had insecurities about that already and the fact that you said that makes her think that you do too.

keep trying and trying, eventually I think she'll get the picture that if you don't give up when you really do want to be with someone.
