Problem with my band.

Asked by aidenxx 4 months ago, 5 answers.

Ok so I'm in this band and my friend and I have been working on a few songs and we recently just got our drummer back. Well it just hit me on how bad my friend is at singing; the one I have been writing songs with her she has a complete b***hy attitude...

and it seems like she's always crying out for attention. Actually I know she is. Well anyway, I don't know how to tell the drummer that I don't like her singing and can't stand her attitude. We aren't close friends so I'm not sure if she's going to go behind my back and tell her. Also, how do I tell my friend that I don't want to write music with her anymore because I think she has a bad voice?

Please help and thanks for taking your time to read this.

This may be one of those situations where in order to save face you need to make a sacrifice...maybe you should just walk away and see if you can start a new band with other friends.

Well your kinda screwed here. You can either stick with this band untill you can get some gigs and maybe a band that sees you will offer you a spot. Or you can just tell her and maybe shell understand

The drummer and I both agreed that she had a bad singing voice. We decided that we wont kick her out of the band but we just wont practice with her. We don't really feel bad since she basically kicked us out of her house during our last practice. Oh well, she'll get the point one of these days. The good thing is we got a bass player and maybe even a keyboardist/singer happy
