It is perfectly normal to have a vaginal odor. The odor is usually pretty inoffensive and is a natural part of being a woman. During puberty the vaginal area secretes more sweat and tends to be moister and therefore more aromatic (smelly). You may also notice that the odor changes as your period cycle changes, becoming more noticeable right around menstruation.
There is an interesting fact behind why all women have a specific odor. Sex organs smell because it is part of their function.
It is not suggested to continue douching, or using feminine sprays. These products may produce irritation and discharge by altering the body's natural secretions and pH. Keeping yourself clean by washing with a mild soap and warm water daily should be a good routine. To help with excess sweating in that area it may help to avoid wearing tight clothing and always wear cotton underwear to allow the body to breath.
Your odor is probably ordinary and nothing to be alarmed about. However if you do notice a terribly strong odor or abnormal discharge, you may want to consult a physician.
Well preferably...dont use soap down there for a start...its not good for such sensitive skin...and the reason it smells the way it does has a lot to do with your diet...people who at meat will have a stronger smell than say a vegetarian...
regardless its a natural normal odor...if you want it to taste sweeter...eat less meat and plenty of fruits
