Print server mishap

when I put my Brother MFC4550 on a printserver (tried both Jetdirect 300X wired printserver as well as Linksys wireless printserver) I get disturbance, unreadable information in the middle of my normal printout. Like a buffer got overfull. I do miss part of the printed text and it will continue again with printing correctly. Right now it is setup to a wired printserver. Has the correct IP adress etc and is hooked up to the parallel port of the printer. Any idea's

Either you're using the wrong printer driver on your computer, or something is wrong with the printer's memory.

Another possibility is that the data is being garbled as its transmitted.
