Pride or love?

Im a person who like's my pride & status, If I love someone and he is giving sort of a hard time should I listen to my heart and do what I have to do and forget where I stand in society or I should stand up and dont let love affect me (though I cant help it) or put me down? Someone please tell me,

Your pride will get you nothing in life. I used to let my pride get in the way with everything! There comes a time when you just have to let yourself be free and take that leap. In your heart of hearts do you feel it's time to jump?

crazygrl is right but if he is taking you down a hard path in life it is still up to you if you can even take it or want to accept it.
