If you have vista you can choose what programs you are allowed to play, just tell your parents or a friend or someone to turn on the parental controls and make a non admin account for yourself to play on that way parental control will block you from opening the program.
You need to learn self control ... thats what my dad always tells me :|

Prevent myself from using a program for a set amount of time
Hi,
I've been searching without luck for a program that I can use to lock myself out of other programs for a given amount of time. I often find myself playing poker and doing the Just one more hand or just until I break even thing.
I'd like to...
be able to close the program, and then lock it out for, say, 6 hours so that I can get some work done.
Needless to say, the many programs out there for parental control are of no use, because they all allow access with a password. I need a program that won't allow access for the time period *no matter what*.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
