I don't Obama is taking away our rights, he is banning guns, so how are we suppose to defend ourselves if we need to...Yell for the police? what are they going to do, all they are going to do is write a report and leave the situation alone and go and give traffic tickets. The last few presidents we have had (George Bush Sr., Bill Clinton, George Bush Jr, and Barack Obama) have been doing more harm to the country that helping it...I am not say McCain should have won, but I think for once we should have someone in office that is it for more than just power...
I believe the right man won! I am for OBAMA one hundred percent and he has the right to be our president.
He is NOT banning guns, he is talking about GUN CONTROL! Which needs to be addressed.
I'm glad that someone with more liberal ideas is finally in the white house.
I'm glad that someone who will KNOW how to SEPERATE church from state, is finally in there.
I'm glad that someone who is pro-choice is in the white house.
I'm glad that someone who is willing to accept gay marriage is in the white house.
I'm glad someone realizes that Guns need to be controlled better is in the white house.
I'm glad that someone who realizes that decriminalization of marijuana in small amounts is the best idea. I'm glad he realizes we are spending billiions of tax payers dollars arresting and jailing ol' bob over there for a dime bag when the cops should be out arresting real criminals.
I think McCain was best for America for a myriad of reasons - here's one item of news that's out today: The Hamas terrorist group believes the election of Sen. Barack Obama is an historic victory for the world and an opportunity to change U.S. foreign policy toward engagement with America's foes, Ahmed Yousef, Hamas' chief political adviser in the Gaza Strip - When terrorists want you, THAT scares me - here's his chance for 'Change', whether positive or negative, we shall see.
filletofspam, I agree with you. Dennis Kucinich would have been great for the job. I never really had any opinion when it came down to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. I was interested when Ralph Nader announced his candidacy as an independent candidate. I did not really care for Barack Obama. My dislike for him grew as the election season progressed. Once I found out about Bob Barr, I thought that he would be the best choice, but unfortunately, most people are too concerned with the Democratic and Republican parties to give attention to candidates of other parties and independent candidates. Out of John McCain and Barack Obama, I would have preferred for McCain to win. I do not think Obama is the right choice for president, but I guess we will have to accept it.
