I'm happy, and he gave a wonderful acceptance speech. I do expect that Pres-elect Obama will be able to work both sides of the aisle and get great things done for our country.

But lets not pass over the fact that McCain has done a lot and sacrificed a lot for this country. And he his conciliatory speech was generous and gracious.

I have high hopes that - just maybe - the US will step away from the strident partisanship that has been part of the last 16 years.

I'm almost glad the economy is in turmoil. That'll make it almost impossible for him to implement his grand plans.

If he fails to push through his healthcare plan, but does get us out of Iraq, it'll be a net positive.

TO BE HONEST...I WAS HOPEING FOR MCCAIN...HE MAY HAVE BEEN OLD BUT HE HAD GOOD MORALS,BUT AFTER HEARING OBAMA'S SPEECH OF VICTORY I CRIED NOT WITH DOUBT OR SHAME BUT BECAUSE HE SAID A LOT OF HOPEFULL THINGS...I REALY HOPE HE IS A GOOD PRESIDENT FOR THE SAKE OF OUR COUNTRY AND US(THE PEOPLE). HE SEEMS LIKE A GOOD GUY...BUT EXPERIENCE WISE...I don't know. BUT CONGRATS GOSE OUT TO OBAMA !!!
