I'm watching the coverage on CNN.com

I actually voted for Mcain, but I'm still really happy about Obama... I mean seriously. Anyone is better than Bush. I'm pretty hopeful about the future because it seems like Obama is the kind of guy to do the right thing, and not the thing that huge investors think is right. He's the kind of guy who will realize that the American people are his main investors, and what is best for the people is best for the country... not what is best for huge corporations.

Well, I think it's definately a moment for the history books for future generations, and he's really opened some doors for visible minorities...other than that, I really have no opinion - he's not my president.

let's hope your right modestalchemist. He says all the right things. We will see soon enough. but I too hope for the better. This country is in a mess financially. people are hurting and it isn't all their fault. Barack has what Bush didn't have. Congress on his side. ? Let's hope people will understand these problems don't change overnight. It took a long time to make the mess.

just about anyone is better then Bush, so lets just hope that Obama will get us out of this hole that Bush put us in. and these problems will take a while to be solved so I hope people dont expect a lot out of him really fast. this will take awhile to get out of what bush put us in

I think if he can do all these things he's promised, he'll be great. But I feel like a lot of people are in for a big let down because they've built him up to be so much when he's just a regular person. He can not single-handedly change the world and that is what everyone is expecting from him.
