Hi,
It's my understanding that Depo must be taken for at least 3 weeks - 1 month to be effective. Also, the rate of effectiveness is not 100%.
It's most likely that you're OK, because you do have some protection with the shot and he did not ejaculate inside of you -- but precum can get your pregnant. I'd suggest you take a pregnancy test IF you don't get your period when you're supposed to. Anything earlier is premature.
And come on...you know the pull-out method doesn't work! If you're smart enough to be on Depo, you're smart enough to know that. Use a condom next time if you don't want a scare like this!
Good luck.
As stated above, precum can get you pregnant. Precum is semen containing sperm only in very small amounts. It leaks out during intercourse to act as a lubricant. It does take some time for depo to work and to be safe, you should wait at least a month before having unprotected sex. Even then, you should still be protecting yourself. Depo prevents pregnancy but not STD's. The withdrawel method should never be depended on for an accurate prevention of pregnancy. If it has been at least a month since you have had the depo shot, you should be safe.

Can precum get me pregnant if I'm on depo?
