Get the morning after pill before its too late. You can only take it up to 72 hours of having sex so you need it as soon as possible. Also I would not be 100 percent sure in believing him about being sterile depending on how long you know him. Also remember the following when on the pill:
It takes a time before it becomes effective, some take up to a month, make sure you use condoms during that time.
Also make sure everytime you take any additional medicine to ask your doctor or pharmacist whether it could have an effect on the pill not working, I've actually seen many people make this mistake
