Pregnant cat

ok ihave a cat and she was pregnant and she was on the bed all day and she was bleeding and that nasty stuff came out and she ate it. and she was fat and stuff. and then norma the women who owns the cats comes out of the room for a little while bout 30...

mins. and then goes back in there and mystery was skinny and we couldnt find ne kittens and were confused what could have happened??? she not fat and there are no lumps in her stomach nemore. could she have eattint them??? help as soon as possible. the cats maybe 6 or 7 months is that to young

It is a possibility. If they kittens were unhealthy and the cat was too young and that motherly instinct didn't kick in.

If she ate them, though, they would just have gone back inside her body - the same volume of them - so she would still be fat, even if no longer lumpy. If she's skinny then where would've they fit?? Maybe she didn't eat them - sometimes when a cat is young or doesn't trust the people she's with, she gets paranoid for her babies and hides them. Did you check the room? Maybe she hid them to keep them safe because she didn't know what to do. That's an instinct too. My grandma's cat always hides the kittens and it's a pain in the ass to go find them cuz she even changes the hiding places every now and then...
