Pregnant?

I took a pregnancy test last wednesday and it came out negative. I dont know when my last period was, sometime beginning/mid october? Yesterday I had a spot of blood, but nothing since then. Im also on birth control? Any advice

The spotting could be from the pill...breakthrough bleeding it's called. If you think that you could be pregnant then you should take another test ASAP. Being on the pill and pregnant could cause birth defects and result in other problems.
