I don't know why you were feeling ill, but the danger of drinking alcohol is NOT to you, it's to the developing fetus. I believe that it's the first trimester when the baby is most vulnerable to harm from your drinking alcohol. Please stop, at least until you know for sure you are not pregnant.
If you have a low tolerance to alcohol or don't drink often, it can make you feel sick or dizzy...especially if you haven't eaten. I have found that if I eat a good meal before I drink, I am less likely to be sick even though I have a low tolerance for alcohol. I never felt sick when I was pregnant until the end, but it is different for everyone. I don't think that having sex or drinking alcohol would bring on "pregnancy" sickness though. If you are uncertain, you are smart by not drinking until you know that you are not pregnant.
You have a computer, so start doing some research on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Even light consumption of alcohol during pregnancy, and PARTICULARLY during EARLY pregnancy, can wreak havoc with the baby for years to come. Fetuses simply cannot tolerate being around alcohol, none at all. It can devastate their nervous systems.
Chill out will you daved, I simply asked a question, I had a drink tonight, I had sex one week ago, how was I to know? and im not certain that I am pregnant, I will take a test in a few days, until then, I will not drink.
I dont drink often, but even then I dont usually feel ill, I drank a few glasses of water and since them im feeling okay.
Sarah, I would be doing you a gross disservice if I were to "chill out" when you ask what I thought was a medical question that was of importance to you. If you are having unprotected sex, then that means you could get pregnant. And if you are drinking alcohol at the same time, then you know you are risking pregnancy while drinking alcohol. Since the result can be catastrophic for your baby, then no, I won't chill out. But I will let you run your own life without giving you any further advice. You have all the information you need. You're on your own what you do with it.

Hi,
I have a question about pregnancy.
How long after Sex (if you get pregnant) would you start to get sickness if you drink alcohol?
I dont think im pregnant, however after 2 drinks tonight, I was on the verge of being sick, so im not going to drink till I know for sure.
