When did I get pregnant?

Okay...so this is it. I just found out that I am preggo. And my husband and I have unprotected sex, but he always "pulls" out. The only time he did not was a day before I was suppose to start..June 30th...and on July 5th I found out I was preggo. So...does that mean I was preggo before that day...I mean would it show positive after only five days. I doubt it, but I would still like to know. We are happy about it, but I am still curious! Thanks!

no, you wouldn't be able to tell you were pregnant after just 5 days.. you were definitely pregnant before june 30th.

Its possible to tell. It all depends on the person, and the pullout method WILL work if you pull far enough away :P

akumo, you obviously need to go back and take a sexual education class. there is a little thing called PRE-C*M. every guy secretes pre-c*m when having sex, it's a natural lubrication. pre-c*m contains sperm. sperm makes babies. pullout method does not work. I hope you learn it the hard way.

It depends what pregnancy test you used. There are new advanced technology that have been advertising to know exactly 5 days after your missed period, etc. Chances are that you weren't pregnant before your period, although it is possible. You might get a hint when they tell you the due-date.

Just a bit of clarification... it is a very common misconception that precum contains sperm.

Precum in its self does not contain sperm... however there can be active sperm from a previous ejaculation which will get "washed out" with the precum (especially if the male has not urinated since his last ejaculation). This "washed out" sperm can cause pregnancy. (and thus why the pullout method is unreliable.)

It is highly likely that you were pregnant before the 30th.

thats not what doctors, health teachers, or the nurses in planned parenthood teach ya sika so id check what ever website you read that from.I actually encourage talking to a professional about this.sperm is the clear liquid(precum is clear ladies) premature ejaculation means exactly that it is semen the white stuff is the lubricant and just so you all know my source is a prenatal surgeon(my brothers wife)so where is all of your info coming from

plus I double checked it all with web md as well as that what they taught us in high school as well as the leaflets in planned parenthood and I think id trust what they teach doctors before anything else anyway. so washing out or urinate all you want there will always be sperm. and dammit tina what the hell

Premature ejaculation(cumming too quickly) and pre-ejaculatory fluid(pre-c*m) are two very different things.

Bottom line is... the withdrawal method is unreliable because pre-ejaculatory fluid may contain active sperm.
