Please tell me how to preheat the oven to 450 degree or 360 degree.
After switching on the burner to 360 how many minutes we should wait to place the dish inside the oven.
Explain it briefly to me please.
Want to try chicken (fried chicken) in that.

Hi vaishu,

I'm a little confused by a few parts of your question. First off, an oven burner does not have to be preheated. Just the actual oven. To use the burner (coils at the top of the oven), just turn it on to the level you want and let it heat up.

To preheat the oven, switch the dial to the temperature (360 or 450) that you need it to be. Most ovens have a little light that will turn on WHILE it's preheating, and then turn OFF once it's DONE preheating. Once it turns off (some ovens beep too), it means the oven is at the correct temperature to cook your food.

(In my oven, for 350, it usually takes about 7-8 minutes).

Now, if you're trying to cook fried chicken, you will need a fryer. You can't fry it in the oven. Unless it's already been fried, and you're just reheating it.

Good luck!
