You HAVE to watch a puppy EVERY SINGLE MINUTE he's not sleeping for 10 days to two weeks...that means he must be gated into the room YOU are in...and you have to watch him for circling, sniffing...so you can pick him up and put him on his pad.
Take him to his pad everytime he eats...everytime he wakes up...and every 20 minutes or so while playing...You have to make this your mission in life for a while, to have a dependablely housetrained puppy.
DO NOT punish when he has an accident...just pick him up and put him on his pad, and clean up...

Phrannie is right, in order to house train a young puppy it takes a lot of hard work and time.
To help with accidents make sure you dont' leave water and food out all the time, you need to feed your puppy at certain times during the day and place them on the pad out take them outside right after to use the bathroom.

Potty training.
We have a five month old puppy [[ 3/4 chihuahua, 1/4 poodle]] and he isnt exactly potty trained yet. We have the little training pads. He usually pees on that, but he never poops on it, he always goes and poops somewhere else, and when we do take him...
out and our other dog out to go potty [[my other dog is potty trained]] he nevers goes to the bathroom outside, its always inside.
Does anyone know how we can help him use the pad for pooping, so he doesnt poop randomly around the house?
