Potty training

cheese! Asked by nerd about 1 year ago, 6 answers.

Is it necesary to put the potty chair in the bathroom? It would be incredibly inconvenient due to the lack of space. Where would a better place be (her room, the hall)? Any tips?

Well, I used a potty chair for all 3 of my kids. I put it in the living room. It made things fast and easy for them, then when they got more used to it I bought one of those seats for on the potty. They were more comfortable on it after they were used to using the little potty.

Instead of using a potty chair, you can buy one of those small seats that you can just attach to the toilet and let them sit on that and use it. That's what my sister has been doing with her son rather than using the potty chair.

The potty chair can go anywhere. For our first, we had it in the living room in front of the TV at first, so he could watch something he liked while sitting on it.

By the time we got to the third, we used a seat insert for the toilet instead, and had figured out kids could be bribed easily to sit on it with those little marshmallows.
