Im new and all and couldn't find if people are aloud to post links or not in questions and answers.
can anyone help me out

In an answer? Yes, provided it's not commercial solicitation...eg, if it's to cite something, OR if you copy / past a snippet (per the DMCA) of content from elsewhere, etc.

However, if it's your personal site, nope.
