I personally think that there should be a box that you can tick when you post advice to make it anonymous, like you can when you post a question.

Or am I just being completely blind...? lol

Actually it's no longer a two step process, there's a little box you can check when you're asking the question...

You are not, and there is, but it is a 2-step process.
After you submit your advice go to your profile, click on recent advice / view all, and there is the link to turn it anonymous.
Official advisers (or at least some) can still tell who did it, but no one else can.

For advice: yes, it's still two step, for questions, it's only one step...thing is, anonymous answers usually are *worse* than non anonymous ones. Same with questions.

We've had a massive increase in duplicate questions, too, as a resulf of the one step to ask anonymously...so, ya, it's on our list, but we need to solve a few things in tandem to add it as a feature (so that answer quality doesn't plummit, and we don't see a big increase in duplicate answers.
