Popular people?

If you're popular, what is it like being on the inside? What are the pros and cons?

im not sure im so popular, but I guess I am, I hang out with the popular people and its really not that different then hanging out with people that.. arent popular?? haha it just isnt really different, really.. I dont know. but, my friends ARE my friends, you know?? like, im not just friends with them because they're popular, you know??

What does being popular mean? Having a lot of friends? Being cool with a lot of people in school?

I don't really beleive in that whole popular thing but I do get along with a lot of people at school.

The pros are being invited to birthday parties, and always having somebody to talk to, somebody to help you with homework, somebody to do stupid things with...

However, it's hard to trust people nowadays. More than 1/2 of the people I talk to at school, I can't really call my friends. We don't really do anything outside of school. Maybe on a special occasion but that's it. Oh well, that's high-school. Lot's of gossip, and immaturity.

Truthfully, I only have a few very, very, close friends who I can trust with my life.

No matter how many friends you claim to have at school, that doesn't really matter as long as you have that 1 close group of friends.

theres nothing good about being popular
unless you so insecure that you feel like you need other people to tell you how great you are
no one cares about popularity when you get older as well
and all the people who were popular in highscool youll probably never see again
not to mention popularity doesnt mean that your going to have a good job when your older
becase knowne cares anymore
