Why do you bleed the first time having sex?

why for the first time you have sex your cherry pops and you can bleed a bit?? I think it would be because of your period is that right??

You bleed the first time because of some tissue or something like that but its not your period

You bleed the first time because of tissue at the entrance of your vagina called the hymen. It will stretch or tear to permit objects into the vagina and sometimes will result in bleeding. Not every woman will bleed her first time. She may not have been born with a hymen or she may have already stretch or tore it sufficiently from other activities such as sports, hygiene or mas*urbat*on.

It has no correlation with your menstrual cycle.
