How can I get to know politics better if I don't like politics?

Friends! If you trust me I dont know anything about my country (or other) politics. I really hate the knowledge , discussions about it.If one asks me sum thing about it, I wont be able to answer anythng.Guys, I know one should have knowledge for his betterment. But I dont like politics. I want your advices .

You can watch debates which is a good way to learn about the soon to be president and vice president so you know how they will affect your life if they become president

You might have to "suffer" thru...actually...once you get into it, your dislike may change into a "like"...Curiosity is a huge factor in what "turns our cranks".
