If you someone stole your bike would you call the police?

Yes...that's theft.

Yes you would - contact the authorities immediatly.

But it's just a bike... Not a big deal right?

Even though it's just a bike, it's still theft and it still cost money..
Plus how will that person ever learn if he doesn't get caught?
Somebody had to work for the money to pay for that bike.

Of course it's a big deal...someone took something that belongs to someone else, and they should be properly punished for it...it's not the item, it's the principal.

Besides, bikes aren't exactly cheap.
