how can I convince my mum to let me get scene hair she said she doesnt like it becuase its messy in the pics I showed her and I havent showed my dad yet and my cuzin said its emo I tried to convince my mum that I wouldnt make it all messy but then if...

she let me get it I would make it messy and also want to convince her to let me get snake bites

please help .

at your age the peircings are a stupid idea
mainly because you dont realise how many jobs consider facial peircings unattractive and unprofesional
how schools with dress codes wont allow them
and that you need to be at least 16 or have your parents with you who has I.d to consent
wait a few more years untill you figure out if YOU actually even want the peircings
as for the hair
you dont really need a haircut to get scene hair
all you do is swoop some hair from the side of your head over your face and secure with a bobby pin or clip
then backcomb the rest to make it poof up
but backcomd basically means knotting it
because your not going to get it all poffed up without making it messy and tangled
and your parents are probably well aware of that

well tell your mom its something you really want. she can see my pictures, I mean scene hair isnt messy to begin with, you just make it look messy.

umm I want seen hair too!! and my mom is the same so what I did is that I showed her that I really wanted it by behavin good which kills me. but at least shes lettin me do it this summer

Check if it suits you first and show your dad the picture

tell your mum that shes stopping you from expressing urself and if she keeps going on like this ull get it when your 18 and theres nothing she can do about it...or show a pic of scene hair...but the neat type. you can have scene hair without backcombing, just with heaps on layers on the top of your head and long parts on the bottom layer (then tease it when you get the hair cut )
