I have long hair, the last 3 inches or so look dead. I have had long hair my whole liufe, and I have cut it shorter a few times, it seems to look healthier when it I shorter. It seems to just die or something when I grow it long. It loks stringy and like it needs to be brushed when I wear it down. Can I get something to treat it, to make it healthier or atleast look healthier? Or am I forever stuck with this burden of deadlike hair, and need to cut it shorter?

maybe try changing your condition, it gets dead looking because of how far the nutrients that your body give your hair to keep it looking chic have to travel, the roots are not bothered about the end of the hair when its that long,,,

try nicki clarkes conditioners... I had the same problem and they worked wonders for me

well first, you have to cut off the dead ends before your hair get's worse. then after that, just take good care of your hair, deep conditioning once a week and cut down on using heat.

the key to having healthy hair is keeping it trimmed and not using a lot of heat like straightners and blow drying on it. since you already have dead ends, it's best to go ahead and trim those off that way your hair will look healthier and grow faster!
