How much does it hurt to get a nose ring?

What kind of pain did you experience when you got your nose pierced? like did it feel like getting a shot or was it like someone cutting open oyur skin cause im getting mine done tomorrow and I dont remember what it felt like when I got my lobes done and I just dont know what to expect. Oh and when the pain starts is it so bad that you want to like fling away and stop the piercing

So you want to get your nose pierced? There are some very good decisions I have made in my life and then there are some that I even still question. I am 34 and I have had my nose pierced 3 times. Not 3 different places, I just had to have it redone. When asked why I have my nose pierced and was it worth it, I still am left without a reasonable answer. The first time I had it done was because I thought the little stone was cute. The second time was because I had let the hole close up and the third time I had it redone was because it became infected. I know, why do it again if it got infected. I just don't know. I guess I just like it. The pain, well, the piercer gets this needle ready and uses stats, or clamps to pull your nostril where he or she can get to the mark and then quickly pokes a thick, long needle through your nostril. It is very important that you do not say anything or scream because a needle is a centimeter away from your upper lip, one word and your lip is cut. Sometimes tears stream from your eyes and you are not sure if you are crying or it is just a reaction. The piercer quickly threads a nostril screw or a ring through the new hole and your done. That side of your nose throbs a bit and you can take some tylenol to relieve some of the pain. It is worse than getting your ears pierced, but easier than getting a shot at the dentist's office. When I say "getting your ears pierced", I am talking about back in the day when no one pierced more than 1 or 2 holes in the lower part of their ear. No stretching either, just a simple hole. It does hurt, but you can take it. And it is sore for a bit, but nothing you can't handle. Just close your eyes and think of yummy squirt cheese in a can on buttery ritz crackers and it will be over before you know it!

it doesn't hurt in my opinion when they actually pierce it,but when they put the jewellery in.I was crying with that bit.

me personaly I got so worried rite before I got it done...I almost cried.mhm it barely hurt so dont sweat it.it felt like a bad pinch.

It makes your eyes water, but keep it clean cause if you get an infection in it then it can hurt. Just make sure its what you really want.
