How can I ask out this girl I really like?

I REALLY like this girl. I only have 1 class with her. I walk home and I see her walking with some of her friends, and some guys. I'm pretty sure she's single because I never see her talking in private with a guy. We talk sometimes, but very seldom. Sometimes I find her looking at me, and once she came up to me in the hall and hugged me and said she loved me, but I think she did it as a joke because she never really talked to me since. Sometimes she laughs at my jokes or remarks, but sometimes it seems as if she is trying to avoid me. I want to see if I can take her to the Fair next week. Anybody have any advice?

Yeah step up and speak to her! start conversations with her, and when you feel comfortable tell her that you see her walking home and was wondering if you could walk her home one time, and see how she reacts.

Alright man, STAY confident. I've had my fair share of getting the girls I thought were out of my reach. It's all about personality, you said she laughs at what you say...you joke around with her, be a bit flirty, even pick on her SLIGHTLY, and maintain that confidence.

As long as you keep it flirty you will stay out of the friend zone and once you talk to her enough to have actual small talks/convos then ask her to the fair.

dude I have this same problem although I've gone out with some chicks I am in the same problem. if a girl is avoiding you most likely shes either made at you for some reason or she thinks your stalking her. be carful when you go up her and talk dont be and idoit and go all jokes becouse that will crash and burn I know from expience, always have a back up plan and make sure you know how to enter a conversation. know what their talking about, make light conversation when you see her alone ask what her next class is, if she has a lot of books ask if you could carry some, be cool stay calm and dont do it everyday!
