How do I figure out if my crush likes me back?

So I am in 10grade and I like a 12 grader. He gave me and my best friend his email and phone # and We talk to him online every night. Sometimes though he will sign off without saying anything and somethimes he will ignore me. I have P.E. with him and I sit at his lunch table with my best friend. But I really can't tell if he acts differently around me. I know his best friend asks me out for him all the time and he smacks him for it and his other friends ask me out to. But they are normally just messing around. I am really confused to whether he likes me so I hope that you can help.

Why is your best friend around all the time?? Cus I'm in the 10th grade and I talk to a 12th grader to...try getting alone with him so you and him can just talk..

You know, just because someone on your buddylist is online doesn't mean you have to message him/her/it. Believe me, there's nothing more annoying to have people greet you out of politeness when they have nothing to say at all.

yea he probably likes you because his friends obviously know something about him liking you if they pretend ask you out for him

just talk to him and let him know. I wouldnt do it online, in person would be better, or on the phone if you are really shy

How can anyone here say he likes you? There is NO indication he likes you whatsoever,! Most likely his friends tease him because you are a sophomore, and they all know YOU like him! Guys always mess around with each other like that, but as you can see, he didnt like it. Thats why he "smacked" his buddy! In my opinion, he does NOT like you! If he did, he wouldnt ignore you, or just sign off without saying bye!
