I want to know my credit score without paying anything. I don't want to be obligated to any fees, or applications, or emails. can you help?

Sure, you can write to the various credit score companies. You are entitled to at least a free credit report from one of these companies every year. You go tho this url:
https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp

Go to the bank that you bank with and ask them for a credit report. They will gladly give you one. I have just obtained one from my bank.
