Please help me.

I like this kid in my grade, but I dont really know him that well. Hes reallu hot and I used to just hink he was hot but we started making like small talk latley like not huge conversations but he'll say hi or just tell me something that happened to...

him. Now that I've talked to him a few times I really want to get to know him better because I think we could really hit it off. His friends told me hes shy sort of and he doesnt only think about hooking up with people and thats how I am too. I want to talk to him more but I dont know what to say cause I dont want to sound stupid like umm hey I like your shirt cause then he'd say thanks and thatd be the end of the conversation. I really want to have a good talk with him. What should I say to him that could make us get to know eacother better? Please help me because last year I got my heartbroken bad and this is the first serious guy I really like after the break up.

well ure gonna have to swallow some pride and tell him u like him and u would like to talk or even if u cant tell him u like him bump into him accidentally and say oh hey i didnt see you or something silly and start talking about school and outside functions that he likes...if you dont somebody will so u better hurry!good luck

How about trying to invite him to do something after school? It sounds like you have to find a way where you can be together and do something fun. If you are too shy to just bluntly ask him to go with you alone then you could try to organize something with your friends and his, or him and a friend or two. Try to do something interactive like going to see a cool museum, or funpark or show. Last but not least you could also ask him for extra help studying. It sounds like your on talking terms with his friends so you could find out what he likes and try to invite him to do something he likes. Of course you could also ask his friends to tell him your interested but it's a lot better to do it yourself. Good luck!
