Please help! I don't know what to do.

First off, I really hate resorting to asking for advice. I wish I just had all the answers in my head. But I guess everyone needs help. I especially in this area.
So I've been liking this guy named Benson. I met these two girls at my school this year and became very close friends with them, we're "best friends" now, and that is how I met Benson. He is their bestfriend. Benson used to have a huge crush on one of the girls, Zenobia. But I'm pretty sure it was only because he was so used to being with her everyday and she was his comfort zone, although shes never liked him back.

The first time Benson and I hung out it was with Ivy, Zenobia, their boyfriends, and Benson and I. Benson took me to walk around the square alone and we talked and had so much fun and he even kissed me on the cheek. We've hung out a few brief times after that, but talked daily. The last time we hung out was last week and he was hugging me and he said I was cute and everything like that. He even locked arms with me when we were runnig and I stopped tosay goodbye to him in the parking lot..we had a very long cute hug. Then we're talking and its a flirtatious friendly talk you know. So there was a conflict with him and Ivy and Zenobia and he and I would talk about it. He left me a message on Myspace saying "CAN I CALL YOU RIGHT NOW" on saturday morning at about 1020. So I responded "yep" so right then he called me and we talked for along time...about random things, cute things, flirtatious things, hanging out, where I live, all of that...so I got to work and he told me to call him during my break. I never did. The next day he called me at about 1230 and asked what I had planned for the day because he wanted to hang out. I told him I couldn't because I had to go to a work party at 5. But we continued talking and then we just got off the phone because my little sister was being annoying. Then at 440 he calls me again! He knew I was going somewhere at 5! So we talked for awhile about his schoool and hanging out..and random things. Then we went to go do other stuff and said bye.
So today I called him because I had a lot of things to talk about and I wanted to.
So we talked for awhile then his sister needed the phone so he let her use it and he called me back but I missed it. Then a minute later he called back again! So I then called him back. THen we talked more and more. His family then started making fun of him because I guess he talks different to me then he does them. He responded "well yes! hahah I'm trying to flirt with her" but in afunny way...that sounds kind of retarted. Anyways so eventually his sister wants the phone again and hes going to have his brother cut his hair so we get off the phone and are just like 'byeeee" . thats that.

we have alotttttof things in common and can just keep going with conversation. I don't really know what to do. What do you think? Do you think he likes me? Should I be straight forward?
PLease. anything. just give me lots of good advice.
