Is this a prank, what to do?

I was about to fall asleep when I get a txt saying who is this. I say my first name and ask who it is. they give me there first name and ask jordan (me) who. I stupidly give out my last name thinking its one of my friends. they tell me they're name is...

Alyssa Ferguson. they ask if my middle name was ___. and it was so I said do I know you? they said do I know you? I said obviously seeing how you know my middle name. they go and say dont be scared, I have a gun, and a knife

I went and told my parents and they just said dont reply to anything its probably just someone pranking you.

they called me and left me a voicemail saying hey call me back. its an emergency

what should I do?

It could be someone pulling a stupid prank on you, if its such an emergency I'm sure they know how to dial 9-1-1. So just leave it.

call them back and prank them...most likely a prankster...if it were me, I would probably call back and say something like, This better be important, my mother is about to have a baby, or something equally stupid...see what their reply to that is.

dont call them they can have caller id

I really ticked my brother off today so I think it might be him. because he's at a friends house

well do you recognize the number?

call the number back from your phone and put in *67 before the number - that will block the number that your calling from. then see if you recognize the voice - if its a woman (maybe your bros friends mom) then ask for your bro or his friend and see if they answer

well it turned out to be my ex-girlfriend's sister. she was supposedly drunk. but oh well. its done now
