Play guitar, want to play drums.

Well couple things. I've only played guitar for a year now. I'm only 14 heh
My dad is a drummer, has an awesome set(edit: and is very good too :D ). I am very good rock band drums, for what it's worth, and have a good sense of rhythm I guess.

just don't find it fun to play guitar, and barely practice. Not very good with my fingers I guess and just get frustrated. I guess I could improve if I practiced more, but it's not fun at all to me.
So do you think I should stick with guitar, hopefully getting better and liking it without sucking as much?
Orrr play drums, which I think I would be better at. But then again 4 pads and a single kick pedal is very different from a real set and I might be even worse then I currently am playing guitar.

Then practice! It takes like atleast an hour of practice a day o get good, but a few hours a day is better. I fu like it keep going!

you should do what you like. I'm almost the same way, I wanted to learn a guitar just so I'd be able to play, but I've always liked the drums better. so soon, hopefully, I'll be able to get my drums and kick that guitar in the @$$ cause I'm never playing it ever again ^_^

what?!?!?!??!?!?! you don't like guitar? I love it :P an If you don't like it than you deffinitly shouldn't stick w/ it b/c it's doubtful that if you don't like it now your gonna all of a sudden start likeing it if drums interest you GO FOR IT!

Haha I was in the same situation as you ..
I found playing along with bands I really like is inspirational. Plus it makes it more interesting..
Dont Drop The Guitar If anything play both
