Plate spinning music

On the Ed Sullivan Show, the men who spun plates on a stick would always play a piece of classical music by Tchaikovsky. Does anyone know what the name of that piece was?

its from the nutcracker, I just cannot recall the actual piece of music, I may get back to you or I may forget, no promises.
