What is the best way to get rid of and/or prevent pimples?

Peroxide: Applied twice a daily, will not only cleanse out the bacteria which causes pimples and zits. After approximately 2 weeks of this, should show signs of improvement.
DO NOT however, use this excessively, this will dry out your skin, as well as it may also open pours to the degree that more bacteria might filter through causing a further problem. It is best to contact your physician prior to any alternative non-topical means of over the counter type treatments. Speak with your doctor, before hand. But this method has worked well for me.

I sleep with toothpaste on them. ALways better in the morning for me. It has to be a tooth PASTE, not a gel one.

I am not sure how toothpaste works. My dad told me about it when I was young and I think he said that it suffocates the pimple and causes it to dry out. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me. But it really does seem to work!

if your pimples are red and you want the redness to go away but visine on the pimple!! it temporarily takes away the redness..Also..proactive works really really good. it helped me sooo much..try itt.

If you can, get early to bed and dont touch them often especially when you havent washed your hands.

toothpaste will not help. it just burns your face and makes marks...
